MUMBAI : Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings.
These days, the show's track focuses on quite an interesting narrative: Anupama and Anuj's life post-marriage. The entire story has had a big twist, with little Anu’s biological mother Maya’s entry, and how she is trying to come between Anupama and Anuj, which has now led to the separation of the couple.
In the previous episode, we have seen how Anupama was eagerly waiting for Anuj, but the latter didn't turn up. Since he gave no valid reason for this behaviour, Anupama was left heartbroken. She makes it very clear to her family that she can deal with the situation alone and does not require anyone's support.
In the upcoming episode, Kavya and Vanraj have a tiff as she would be supporting Anuj, suggesting that something is fishy. That’s when Vanraj interrupts and says that there is no point of supporting him as he betrayed Anupama. His reality is finally out.

Both have a major argument, and Kavya decides to leave the house. She cannot stay with a man like Vanraj, who doesn’t want her in his life. She decides to prioritise her self respect.
It will be interesting to watch how Kavya would lead her life without the Shah family and Vanraj. Would anyone find out the reason why Anuj didn’t turn up?
