MUMBAI: Yeh Hai Chahatein is a passionate love story between a famous rockstar, Rudraksh Khurana, and a gynecologist, Dr. Preesha Srinivasan, who fall in love while raising his brother’s son, Saransh, together.
The show is going through some high voltage drama right now.

In the previous episode, Preesha reaches Nalini's house where she meets her mother.
Preesha asks if she knows Nalini’s boyfriend and it is then that her mother shows her a picture of Nalini’s boyfriend.
Preesha is shocked to see the picture but soon connects the dots and everything starts making sense to her.
Later, Preesha meets the truck driver and asks him who paid him for the job.
Revati and Rakesh watch the news and it’s shown that Nalini met with an accident where the truck driver is arrested. The news informs that Nalini was pregnant and the child is safe. The reporter also adds that the DNA samples of the child are saved as it will be used to search for the child’s father.
Rakesh devises a plan to steal the DNA samples from the lab but doesn't realize that it is in fact a trap. Preesha will be waiting for him in the lab as he arrives.
Rakesh is left shocked seeing Preesha there.

In the upcoming episode, Preesha goes to meet Rudraksh, to tell him everything that she learned from Nalini’s mother and Budhiya, the truck driver.
Rudraksh is shocked after knowing about Rakesh and Nalini's illicit affair.
As there is no proof to show the connection between Budhiya and Rakesh, Rudraksh comes up with an idea to find out the connection and instructs Preesha to go and meet Budhiya’s family to see if she can find a clue there.
Preesha agrees and gets up but is worried to see Rudraksh, all bruised and in terrible pain.
Preesha goes to hold Rudraksh and here they have a moment where Rudraksh forgets all his anger and his eyes well up with love for Preesha. Soon enough though, he gets his emotions in-check.
Preesha understands the anger he has and thinks to herself that she will do something about it soon.
Later, Preesha reaches the police station where the complaint was filed against Budhiya.
Preesha asks the constable to give her the statement copy and he agrees to do so.
He gives the statement copy and Preesha tells him if she can get a photocopy of it.
The constable agrees to that and leaves from there to make a copy.
Preesha takes advantage of the situation and opens a register to check for Budhiya’s address.
After searching, she finds the address and clicks a picture of the same. She puts the register back in its place and just then, the constable comes back to give her the copy of the statement.
Preesha thanks him and leaves.
