Yesterday (12 April 2012), the TV industry got a jolt with the news of Imagine TV shutting down. <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/changragupta-maurya-aka-ashish-fractures-his-nose-sets>Ashish Sharma</a> was playing the lead in the channels top-rated show <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/chandragupta-maurya-completes-100-episodes>Chandragupta Maurya</a></em>, and in a day’s time he became jobless. Ashish was also left shell-shocked with the news. But now he has got the hang of the feeling and got himself busy with something more interesting.

Tellychakkar.com has been reporting about the mishaps that have occurred on the sets of Imagine’s <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/aarya-play-dhananands-son-chandragupta-maurya>Chandragupta Maurya</a> (read <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/changragupta-maurya-aka-ashish-fractures-his-nose-sets>Ashish Sharma</a> almost breaking his nose and also him getting a bad bruise on his cheek). And now it is <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/sooraj-thapar-replaces-harsh-chhaya-comedy-circus-teen-ka-tadka>Sooraj Thapar</a> who got injured on the sets of this show.

Aarya Dharmchand Kumar, who was last seen in Colors’ <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/havan-end-positive-note>Havan</a> playing the character of Yajur, is all set to appear on the TV screens again. The actor will be seen in Imagine’s <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/chandragupta-maurya-completes-100-episodes>Chandragupta Maurya</a></em>, in an important role. The audiences, of this biographical saga, have already seen Dhananand’s death. And now his son, who was in exile, will come to the forefront and will claim his rule over the Nanda Dynasty.

Imagine's <a href="http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/chandragupta-maurya-air-once-week"><em>Chandragupta Maurya </em></a>will soon see Manish Wadhwa playing another character. While currently this talented actor is essaying the role of Chanakya in this show, the future episode will see him playing Chanak. Incidentally, Chanak is Chanakya’s father.

Stories of shows going off air have been making rounds in the media off late. But here’s some news that has come as a breath of fresh air. <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/chandragupta-maurya-air-once-week>Chandragupta Maurya</a></em> aired on Imagine has completed 100 episodes, today.

Tellychakkar.com earlier reported that Ashish Sharma, who plays the protagonist in Imagine's <em> Chandragupta Maurya</em> got a long cut on his nose, which goes up till his right cheek. His nose was almost broken when a stuntman hit an artificial sword straight onto his nose. And sadly, history repeated itself just today (24 January 2012) when the TV actor got a bad bruise on his left cheek. This incident took place at around 2 am.
