The show manages to create news day after day. And the launch date is still to be announced. It has been reported that one the nine celeb participants was Sachin Pilgaonkar. But news now has it that Varun Badola who is currently seen in <em> Ek Chabi Hai Pados Mein</em> has replaced Sachin. After exercising his vocal his chords in<em> Jhoom India</em> the actor is now all set to show his<em> jalwa in Yeh Hai Jalwa.</em> A matter-of-fact Varun says, “I took up this show as I was offered good money.” And then adds, “It has an interesting concept and I’m looking forward to it.”

Varun Badola aka Sandeep of<em> Ek Chabi Hai Pados Mein</em> is an actor who wants to experiences all related genres. Badola has recently begun directing and scripting. “I’ve got experience in directing and script writing. When I got the opportunity to try my hands at this in <em> Ek Chabi… </em> I happily accepted it,” says Varun.

Though according to the judges he was a better performer in the grand final it wasn’t enough for Varun Badola to win <em> Jjhoom India’s</em> title. Varun has lost out to Sachin Tyagi in the battle for votes. Says Varun unflinchingly, “I got a better score in the finals but lost out badly in votes. The deficit was more than one lakh votes.”

The <em> Jjhoom India</em> jury of Mahesh Bhatt, Shabana Azmi and Anandji has been described by some as 'trimurti'. While it's foolhardy to question the credibility of these acclaimed personalities, there's a missing link in the <em> Jjhoom</em> jury. A singing reality show not having a singer among the jury is indeed matter of debate.

The musical reality shows are a hit with masses but they are now appealing to the soap makers too. Inspired by <em> Voice of India,Aek Chabi Hai Pados Main </em> on Star Plus have come out with their own version called <em> Voice of Colonel Ganj.</em> The cast and crew members of <em> Aek Chabi…</em> were in for a pleasant surprise recently when <em> Voice of India</em> contestants visited the sets as well.

It's official. Aroona Irani's Zee show, <em>Rabba Ishq Na Hove</em> is wrapping up. The show has had a successful 52 episode run and will come to an end on 18 April, sources tell us. The show, that launched on the ill fated Black Tuesday, 26 July 2005 (the first episode was re-telecast on 2 August) started as an one hour 10 pm weekly, but was rescheduled to air Mondays and Tuesdays at 8:30 pm.
