Rabindranath Tagore was born on 7 May 1861. He was a Bengali who went on to become a legend by the beauty of what he inked and his contribution to the freedom struggle of India against the British. Rabindranath was a rare man of different merits. He was a novelist, dramatist, artiste, essayist, music composer, philosopher, academic, linguist and social reformer. The versatile personality throughout his life enriched Bangla literature through his writings. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913 for his English version of Gitanjali.

Akanksha Singh, better known as Megha of Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha being shown on Colors, is unhappy of late and the reason is her new avatar. As seen in the current episodes, Megha has been dressing up beautifully for different occasions as she finally gets married to Mohan (Kunal Karan Kapoor). “For the last ten days, I have been wearing heavy costumes, which is really disappointing, I miss my simple sarees.”

Akanksha Singh, who plays the lead of Sunshine Productions’ Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha on Colors, is no doubt elated after bagging the Best Fresh Face Female Award at the Eleventh Indian Telly Awards which will air on Colors on 30 June 2012 at 7pm.
