Kunal Karan Kapoor: "One must never romance one's co-star"

Kunal Karan Kapoor aka Mohan of Colors’ Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha is being loved by one and all for the way he walks, talks and also the way he expresses his feelings to Megha aka Akanksha Singh on the show. Hence we at Tellychakkar.com got in touch with this sweet lover boy to know him even better. He is delighted that TV viewers have taken a liking to Na Bole Tum…and to his character. Says he: “I think I am blessed to be a part of something like this. However, since I am shooting all the time I do not even know what the fans are thinking about me.” In fact, he further tells us that this is the first time that he has worked so long in a TV show. “I have never worked so much in my life. I believe we have completed six months and it’s wonderful, however it does get hectic and tiring for me at times,” he declares. Kunal a travel-holic admits that there are times when he feels like packing his bags and taking off as ennui sometimes sets in courtesy the day-in-day-out shooting schedules. “I miss travelling like anything. At times when I look up at the sky and see a plane fly by I get transported to another world. Then I so feel like being there but then I am still here. Yes, I do feel like taking a flight and disappearing at times but then there is commitment,” he reveals. And what does he do to get over this boredom? “I think of the days when I did not have much work and I used to sleep the whole day,” he says flashing his pearlies. Kunal also misses his pet dog a lot. Says he: “I cannot keep him here as I do not even have the time to clean my new house into which I recently shifted and which is in a mess. Hence, I have sent him to a farmhouse. The place is run professionally and my pet has been staying there for six months now. However, I do keep receiving his pictures every month.” Is there a love angle in his life? Or is he single? “There is no time for love,” he says with a distant look in his eyes. Will he date his sultry and beautiful co-star Akanksha Singh if the occasion arises? “No way”, he says. “It’s not a wise idea. One must never get romantically involved with people you are working with.” Is he speaking from experience? “It’s too personal to answer,” is his rebuttal. Quiz him about the kind of girl he wants to date and he says, “She should be easy going. Somebody, who loves traveling and is adventurous and she should be very pretty of course. Wait take that back: I have no reservations as I am very easy going myself,” he ends.
