MUMBAI: Bollywood and TV celebrities gradually become a part of our lives as we see them regularly on the screens. Their movies and TV shows make a huge impact on our lives.
A lot of celebrities have passed away over the years for various reasons. While some have lost their lives due to a disease, some have committed suicide for reasons unknown.
The tragic news about some celebrities committing suicide came as a huge shocker to their fans. However, those actors are still remembered for their memorable performances.
So, here's a list of Bollywood and TV celebs who committed suicide:
The untimely demise of Sushant at the age of 34 is hard for everyone to accept. The actor committed suicide by hanging himself in his Bandra apartment on 14th June. Apparently, depression was the reason behind his suicide, but it is yet to be proved.
The Balika Vadhu actress shocked the entire nation when she was found hanging in her Mumbai apartment on 1st April 2016. The reason behind Pratyusha taking such a drastic step is still a mystery.
3. Kushal Panjabi
Film and TV actor Kushal Punjabi was found dead at his Mumbai residence on 26th December 2019. He was suffering from depression. His property was distributed between his parents and son, as stated in his suicide note.
4. Nafisa Joseph
The model and VJ had been the Miss India Universe of 1997 and was a finalist in the Miami Miss Universe competition the same year. Nafisa was found hanging in her apartment at the age of 26 after her marriage to businessman-fiancé, Gautam Khanduja got cancelled.
5. Kuljeet Randhawa
Kuljeet hanged herself in her apartment in Juhu on 8th February 2006. In a suicide note, Kuljeet stated that she was ending her life as she was unable to cope with life's pressures.

6. Jiah Khan
Jiah reportedly died after hanging herself from a ceiling fan at her family's residence in Juhu on 3rd June 2013.
7. Preksha Mehta
Crime Patrol actress Preksha Mehta committed suicide on 26th May. She was 25. The actress took her life by hanging from a ceiling fan. She had been very depressed for not getting work.
8. Disha Salian
Sushant Singh Rajput's ex-manager died after falling off the 14th floor of a building in Mumbai on 9th June. The police officials are still investigating the cause of her death.
9. Manmeet Garewal
Kuldeepak actor Manmeet ended his life on 15th May, leaving his wife shattered. The actor was facing a financial crisis.
10. Guru Dutt
Guru Dutt was a great actor and a director. In his life, the only film that he made was a box office failure and it was Kaagaz Ke Phool. However, it became a cult classic a few years later. Although it is said that he committed suicide, the cause of his death still remains a mystery.
