Aashka Goradia was last seen in Zee's Sindoor. After the show winded up, the reclusive actor went on a two month sabbatical. But now the lady's back and has bagged a plum role in Smriti Irani's Viruddh. We caught up with the actress to know more about her role Tell us about Viruddh I will soon be seen in Smriti Irani's Viruddh. It's too early to spill the beans and yesterday was the first day of my shoot. It felt really nice to be back on the sets, and at this stage I am not supposed to reveal anything more about the show until it's officially announced. I took up the assignment simply because I found my character very interesting and secondly it's Smriti's show. On Sindoor I essayed the role of a widow who marries Dhruv aka Sachin Shroff after the death of Vedika (Gurdeep Kholi). As an actor it was a very challenging assignment and something that I enjoyed playing. I went on a break I like to keep to myself as much as I can. So, when Sindoor went off air I decided to take a break. I always do that after all my shows. I have been taking guitar classes along and kick boxing. In fact, I have been learning kick boxing for the last eight months. On my filmi career I am not thinking much about it now. It's too early but if I get a good chance then definitely I would love to act in a film
