MUMBAI: This Ganesh Chaturthi, our beloved stars are celebrating in their unique ways. One heartwarming story comes from Aayushi Bhave, who shared the divine connection her family has with their 95-year-old Ganpati Murti. Passed down through generations, this murti has become a symbol of blessings and faith for the Bhave family.
Aayushi shared, “Our Ganpati Ji has a very special story. My great-grandparents were unable to conceive a child, so they prayed to Lord Ganpati, making a navas (a vow) that if blessed with a child, they would bring Ganpati Ji home every year. Since then, we have been bringing home the same murti of Bal Ganesh, who is seated on a tiger. This sculpture is around 95 years old, and we have never changed it and never will. It has become such a divine connection for our family.”
As the Bhave family bids farewell to Lord Ganesh this year, Aayushi reflects on the feeling of being surrounded by blessings. “Saying goodbye to Ganpati Ji is always emotional, but we know that when we bring him home next time, he will bless us in ways we can't even imagine. It’s a beautiful feeling, and we always feel his presence with us through this murti. Every time we look at it, we feel connected to him and to our family’s tradition.”
Wishing everyone a happy Ganesh Chaturthi, Aayushi added, “Lord Ganesh teaches us to do good and be good, and I hope you all continue supporting our show 10:29 Ki Aakhri Dastak.”
