Abir Goswami's wife Koyal Goswami clarifies, "Abir's death was a simple case of cardiac arrest"

Abir Goswami
It’s been three days now since actor Abir Goswami breathed his last. However, the television industry has not yet come to terms with this sudden tragedy. Abir’s co-actors, friends and well wishers from the industry have been constantly writing about the ‘good old days’ spent with the actor who always carried an effervescent smile on his face. They have also talked about the ‘numb feeling’ they had when they watched Abir on screen for the last time in Sony Entertainment Television’s Crime Patrol yesterday (2 June 2013). Amidst the sorrow of the man’s departing, we hear that his family is upset over the reports that have flashed in media about the actor having suffered from Lymphoma and some sort of a Rheumatic heart disease in the past. Clarifying the reason of Abir’s death to Tellychakkar.com, his wife Koyal Abir Goswami on behalf of her rest of the family said, “We would like to clarify that Abir never suffered from any ailments like Lymphoma or Rheumatic heart disease as posted in some sections of the media. This is a simple case of cardiac arrest. This is a humble effort from the aggrieved family to restrict ourselves from miscommunication going to Abir`s friends and fans.” As we know, Abir who is known for being a fitness freak was working out at the gym on 31 May 2013 when he suffered a cardiac arrest. Also, very close industry friends of Abir have organized a condolence meet for him which will take place in a few days time. The message that is on circulation reads like this – “In loving memories of our friend Abir Goswami a Condolence meet is being held at Iskcon temple, bhakti kala kshetra auditorium, Juhu, 2-6pm, 4th June Tue. Pls pass on to all.” We join in to mourn the loss of the good-natured human being and great actor in Abir.
