Bengali actress Aindrila passes away at the age of 24

MUMBAI:   The 24 years old Bengali actor Aindrila Sharma, who was admitted to the hospital in Kolkata on November 1, passed away on Sunday.

She was hospitalized after suffering a brain stroke and was undergoing treatment after suffering multiple cardiac arrests on November 14. However, her health kept deteriorating and she took her last breath on November 20.

Aindrila had an intracranial hemorrhage and had to undergo left frontotemporoparietal de-compressive craniotomy surgery.

Sabyasachi Chowdhury, Aindrila's boyfriend, took to social media earlier, urging fans to pray for her. He wrote, "I never thought that I would write this here. However, today is the day. Pray for Aindrila. Pray for a miracle. Pray for the supernatural. She is fighting against all odds, beyond human."

Aindrila Sharma was a cancer survivor, brought up in Berhampore, West Bengal. The actress started her television career by debuting in Jhumur after which she starred in many shows like jibon Jyoti, Jyoti Kathi and Mahapeeth Tarapeeth. Later, she also acted in movies like Love Cafe and Ami Didi No 1.
