As per media reports, a small time Tollywood actor-photographer was arrested today (Saturday) for his alleged involvement in raping and blackmailing an upcoming model.
30-year-old Aniket Da was arrested from his south Kolkata residence for raping a 20-year-old model and then blackmailing her with her photographs.
As per the complaint of the model lodged at the Regent Park Police Station yesterday, Aniket had established physical relations with her, promising work in films and tele serials.
It has also been reported that in her complaint, she also alleged that Da had taken her personal photographs. Whenever she would ask about the promised work, the accused used to silent her by saying that he would upload them on the internet.
