MUMBAI: Zee TV’s Tujhse Hai Raabta is an endearing story of the bittersweet relationship between a mother and daughter who are not related by blood but eventually form a relationship that is thicker than blood.
Kalyani’s world turns upside down after a big setback. Her mother dies in an accident, while her father is arrested for it. Kalyani learns about her father’s relationship with Anupriya. Kalyani never knew about Anupriya. She learns that Anupriya has become her legal guardian. Kalyani and Anupriya are compelled to live with each other. The show puts light on undefined relationships. The bond between Anupriya and Kalyani is initially very fragile.
We like a lot of shows on television, but this one is definitely a breath of fresh air. The clashes and altercations in the show are genuine, and the story is something we can connect with. The serial showcases Poorva Gokhle in the limelight, and we cannot help but appreciate her deft of acting and switching between shades and moods. She definitely is one gifted actress.
What we love about Poorva is that playing the role of Anupriya, she personifies the phrase ‘age no bar’ to pull off any kind of role.
The concept of the show is strong and definitely has the audience lauding the performance of the actors. Poorva justifies that one needs to wait for a good role and that one should jump into projects half-heartedly for quick fame and money.
Poorva is most popularly known for her stint in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Kkoi Dil Mein Hai and has made a comeback on the Hindi GEC space after a very long time. We can only imagine how convincing this role was that she gave a nod to Tujhse Hai Raabta.
Way to go, Poorva!
