MUMBAI: After the rage surrounding the #MeToo movement all over the country, a lot of people have come in support of it by not working with the alleged accusers. After Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan refusing to work with the alleged accusers of sexual misconduct, even the television industry is supporting the movement.
TellyChakkar had reported that Anu Malik was being roped in to compose a special track for Sony TV’s Mere Sai (Also read: Anu Malik and Indian Idol fame Nitin Kumar roped in for Mere Sai).
The latest development is that Sony has now scrapped the song owing to accusations against the singer for sexual harassment.
In addition, Anu Malik has asked to step down as a judge from Sony TV’s singing reality show Indian Idol 10.
