Recently, the audience received the shocking news about Nimrit Kaur Alhuwalia aka Meher taking a long break from the shoot of Chhoti Sardarni owing to her health issues. The report also mentioned that actress Kritika Sengar has been roped in to play a prominent role in Meher’s (Nimrit) absence.
Well, TellyChakkar has got yet another development from Chhoti Sardarni sets.
Post the leap, actress Shivangii Verma was roped in as Sarabjeet’s love interest Samaira in the show. However, owing to the sudden changes, the actress will make an exit from the show.
A source close to the project revealed, “A huge set-up was created to celebrate an on-secreen occasion on our sets. However, we received the information about Nimrit’s health, and overnight, major decisions were taken in order to maintain the smooth run of the show. Shivangii was informed about her exit only before her last scene. The production house is trying hard to handle the crisis and move ahead with the show."
We couldn’t connect with Shivangii or the producers for a comment.
