MUMBAI: TV actress Aishwarya Raj Bhakuni, who has featured in shows like Tenali Rama, Jhansi Ki Rani, and Saam Daam Dand Bhed and is currently a part of Sony TV’s Vignaharta Ganesh, has bagged &TV’s Paramavatar Shri Krishna.
The mythological show, produced by Peninsula Pictures, will soon witness a 20-year leap. Actor Sudeep Sahir will be seen depicting Lord Krishna.
According to our sources, Aishwarya will play the role of Shubrata, wife of King Rukmi (played by Salman Sheikh).
The actress confirmed being a part of the show.
Paramavatar Shri Krishna takes viewers through the fascinating tale of Lord Krishna as a child. The naughty ‘makhan chor’ is one of the most loved characters on television. After the leap, it will narrate the Mahabharat from Krishna’s perspective.
