MUMBAI: Akansha Sareen is currently seen in the role of Rati Jindal on Star Plus' show Shaadi Mubarak. The actress is seen in an out-and-out negative role on the show.
The actress is paired opposite Gaurav Sharma. Akansha and Gaurav are shown as Preeti's son and daughter-in-law.
Rati has been behind Preeti's life as she finds her more talented and can't see her successful. Not just Rati but Preeti's son too doesn't like his mother's work and be independent.

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Akansha opened about her role and much more.
On being asked if she was skeptical about taking up a negative role, Akansha said, "This is the fourth time I am doing it but it just turned out to be the biggest. I did not know that people are going to hate me so much. They are going to hate my face and my voice."
Further taking up the role, Akansha said, "I didn't think that much while taking up the role and grabbed the opportunity that came in my way. But I did not expect that it will be so huge."
Well, Akansha's negative avatar has definitely brought lots of ups and downs in Preeti's life but the actress has simply given her heart and soul to deliver such a stellar performance.
