Akshay Verma in Aasman Se Aage

Guys, here we are back with another piece of news from Sagar Arts and Nilanjana 72 Degrees Northe’s show on Life OK, Aasman Se Aage. Yes, early in the morning we wrote about the show going off air in July (2012). But till then the makers are making all possible effort to keep viewers’ interest alive in the show. Accordingly, actor Akshay Verma – last seen in Colors Maati Ki Banno – has been brought on board to play the role of Bindra. Bindra will be a new choreographer but in real he will be good for nothing. He will simply boast about his talent, instead of performing, to be on the top.

We have also learnt that seasoned actor Arif Zakaria was supposed to play the character of Bindra, but due to some unforeseen reasons he backed out at the last moment. When we had a word with Akshay, he confirmed to Tellychakkar.com, “Today (11 June) is my first day of shoot and I am returning to small screen after years now. I was busy with my movies, street plays and theatres in the mean time. I am a trained dancer but in the show I have to portray as if I am talentless.” His entry is expected to air this week!
