MUMBAI: Summer season is here now, and actress Anupama Solanki who is part of the show Kuch Reet Jagat ki Aisi Hai, says that she makes sure to take some time off during the summer. She adds that she tries to travel to a cooler place.
“Summer holidays are exciting for everyone, including adults, because everyone wants to relax and refresh themselves. Every summer, my vacation is fixed in any hill station or any water park,” she says.
She adds, “I don’t mind long leaves because sometimes it’s required for mind and body. Small or big breaks always help one rejuvenate oneself. If you drive from Delhi to Mumbai then you cannot drive continuously, right? The same thing with the human body. A minimum of one-day rest is required for human beings in a week. Otherwise, your mind and body will not work for too long.”
However, she says that in the acting profession, it’s tough to predict how much leave you can take. “Our acting field is unpredictable. When you get the break, it can be too long or too short. But I am always prepared for all types of leaves, whether long or short,” she says.
As for using her phone and connecting to work on holidays, she says that she makes sure to avoid that. “These days cell phones are a blessing but if they are used in access it will be a curse for you so use cell phones in limit,” she says.
