MUMBAI : Sudhanshu Pandey is a huge name in the entertainment business and he has been around for more than three decades.
The actor has been part of many successful shows and movies and has a massive fan following.
He is a successful singer also and is part of the Band Of Boys.
He has been part of successful movies like Khiladi 420, Dus Kahaniyaan, Singh Is Kinng, Singham, Murder 2, Yakeen, Jersey etc.
The actor has also been part of many successful TV shows like Mano Ya Na Mano, Sanjivani, Jhansi Ki Rani, Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera etc.
Sudhanshu shot to stardom with his character of Vanraj in television's number one serial Anupama where he became a household name.
But recently he took all the audience and fans by shock as he announced that he would be quitting the show and he has put a full stop to the character of Vanraj that shocked everyone.
TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and asked him what was Rajan Shahi's reaction when he told him he would want to quit and revealed who could play Vanraj next.
What was Rajan Shahi's reaction when you informed him about your exit from the show?
We spoke and discussed things and no one had to convince each other. The show was running for four years and the story was done so was the character and too many gimmicks were done to prolong the storyline. But to run the show and hold the number one position at the BARC rating is an achievement and salute to the writers for writing the story for seven days and continuing it till 365 days and its always a challenge to bring in more variety in the character that you played for four years and at the end before the audience would get bored about the character I quit so that they have good memories.
With your exit the audience feel that the show should shut down as there is nothing new to offer, what do you think about it?
The audience is God their reaction is everything and if they are not getting entertained then there is a an issue as they are the ones who watch the show and if they only wouldn't then the TRP will fall but am sure Rajan and his team will do something and bring back the viewership.
Who according to you could play Vanraj?
There are many experienced actors in the television industry and also so talented. Am sure whoever the production house would bring on board will do full justice to the role and will bring some freshness, the audience will take some time to accept it but then gradually the acceptance would happen.
Well, there is no doubt that the audience would miss watching Sudhanshu Pandey as Vanraj as he did full justice to the character.
