Following in the footsteps on his reel love Shikha Singh, actor Arjit Taneja aka Purab of Kumkum Bhagya has put in his papers, a popular daily has reported.
The actor may have shot to fame with his popular role, but he is now on a six-month notice period. His last day of shoot is in August 12, 2016, the site added.
A source close to the daily has said, "Arjit acknowledges that he has got immense popularity with the character Purab. He didn't want to quit the show as he has gotten too attached to the unit. But there is nothing much left for him to do in the show as Purab's character lost prominence over a period of time. And this prompted him to take the step to put in his papers in February."
