MUMBAI: It’s not even a week that shoots have resumed and here we get a shocking news. Yeh Un Dino ki Baat Fame Ashi Singh will replace Avneet Kaur to play Yasmine in Alaadin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga. The change is because of Avneet’s health reasons.
Speaking to Bombay Times Ashi said as an artiste she would strive to play different roles and that she has never been a part of fantasy- based show. For the first, time Ashi will be performing action sequence.
When quizzed about how she feels replacing Avneet she said that she never wanted to replace anyone as it’s difficult to break the benchmark set by the original actor.
On her part Avneet said that I purely left the show because of Corona crisis as I can’t risk my health. Last year, she had a bout of dengue that weakened her immunity system, but she resumed work. Her parents and she decided that it’s better for her to quit the show as health is the top priority.
