Ashish Kaul to play 'cupid' father; Syed Shabahat Ali to feature in Yeh Hai Aashiqui

Ashish Kaul and Syed Shabahat Ali

Talented actor Ashish Kaul will get back to television after a break of close to two months. And he has now been roped in to play a father who would play ‘cupid’ to unite his son with his love.. Yes, this will be one of the stories to be featured by Bodhi Tree Productions for their Disney Bindass show, Yeh Hai Aashiqui over the Valentine’s week.

Playing Ashish’a son will be Syed Shabahat Ali, who has earlier shot for few episodic tales. Syed will play the under confident young lad, who would fall for his neighbour girl (newbie Rhea). Though they would be the best of friends, the girl would have never harboured the feeling of love while it would be a one-sided love affair for the boy to begin with.

And this will be when the father will butt in and create situations and circumstances that would bring the boy and the girl closer.

When contacted, Ashish told us, “Yes, this is one splendid role, where I play a father who plays cupid in his son’s love story. Guess this role is tailor-made for me, as I think I am capable of playing cupid to my son’s love life even in real life too (smiles).”

Syed told us, “Yes, I am shooting for this particular episode. However, I will not divulge details. It is for the audience to see.”
