MUMBAI :Anupamaa is ruling our television screens. The show has always managed to maintain the top most position and keep the audience hooked with its storyline. The performance of every character has been praised immensely and the chemistry of MaAn aka Anupama and Anuj is highly loved.
The show keeps on bringing new plots and this time as well they have not failed to bring something good forward.
According to the latest plot, Anuj and Anupama have a face-off where Anuj blames Anupama for helping the Shah family and ignoring her own family. Pakhi on the other hand comes to the Kapadia house to seek forgiveness from Adhik and to patch up, but she sees him enjoying himself, and thus she gets angry and accuses him of having a relationship with Dimple.
A while back, Adhik lost his cool because Pakhi was not helping Adhik in managing the house and not doing any work. Vanraj lashed out at Adhik later for talking to Pakhi rudely.
In any case, Vanraj always supports Pakhi and lets his mistakes and misbehaviour go by. Earlier, he supported her when Adhik got mad without trying to understand what Adhik was feeling. A while back, when Pakhi wished to go abroad for studies, he blindly supported her without being fully informed about the purpose with which she wished to go.
Even when Pakhi was being very rude and disrespectful towards Anupama and even asked her to never come back to the Shah house, he did not say much to her. Vanraj also supports Toshu a lot and does not correct him much when he’s wrong.
Similarly, Leela always supports Vanraj in any given scenario. She always tries to defend him and fails to understand other people’s perspectives.
The audience feels that when it comes to parenting, Vanraj and Baa are on the same tracks. They feel the two are quite similar as parents and need to improve because they never see their child’s mistake. For them, always the other person is in the wrong.

Angela Gomez: I think it is Leela’s influence over Vanraj that he has turned out like her when it comes to parenting. I feel this is where they both lack as parents because one needs to correct the child from time to time. But all they do is cover for their children.
Shagun Fatima: I wish Leela and Vanraj set better examples as parents. The show has such a wide audience and reach that it is getting all wrong. Even when Anupama and Bapuji try to make them understand, they refuse to listen and only do what they feel like.
Tina Shah: Anupamaa has gone on to become one of the most popular shows of all time but there are some problematic things about it. I understand they need to show something in order to create drama but Leela and Vanraj are on the same tracks and I feel they can do better. The two have been going down the same path as parents, always trying to defend and cover up for their children.
Ritu Mishra: Leela’s influence is so strong that not only as a person, but as a parent too Vanraj is just like her. I wish the two tried to correct their kids from time to time, they would have turned out better.
