MUMBAI : Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the longest-running Indian television shows and people still love it. The audience pours in immense love for the track and the chemistry of AbhiRa aka Abhimanyu and Akshara. The show is in for a lot of drama with the upcoming twists and turns.
According to the latest plot, Akshara has a medical condition because of which she cannot conceive and even if she does, her life faces danger. On the other hand, Aarohi gets to know this and blackmails Abhimanyu in return for staying quiet about Akshara. But Akshara finally finds out and is shattered to learn the truth. Later on, we find out that Aarohi is suddenly not feeling well and it turns out that she is pregnant.
Popular drama series Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is constantly high on drama. Fans love the chemistry between Pakhi and Virat and the gripping storyline as well as their impeccable performances in the show. In the plot, before the leap, Sai and Virat wish to get pregnant but couldn’t because Sai has some complications. While out of nowhere, Pakhi later gets pregnant.
The netizens feel that the plot is somewhat going on the tracks of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. In both plots, there are three characters involved, one woman was supposed to get pregnant but isn’t able to because of complications and suddenly the other woman gets pregnant.

Naina Sharma: I feel the two plots are quite similar given that the main similarity is that both Sai and Akshara have complications and suddenly Pakhi and Aarohi got pregnant. I understand some things are different yet this is a huge similarity and I don’t know if this is by accident or not.
Rashi Hardaha: I am unable to understand why the two plot lines are getting so similar. Why is Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai unable to come up with a different storyline or angle instead of overlapping with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.
Sneha Mishra: I feel Akshara will also get pregnant after all and there will be a leap if we are to see the plot of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. I am unable to understand the reason behind these similarities. The writers and makers should think about not overlapping with ideas and angles that have already been used.
Aditi Baghel: I wish Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai came up with a better angle and plot instead of going down the track of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. There needs to be some creativity and freshness in the plot.
