MUMBAI: Pandya Store fame Akshay Kharodia tied the knot with longtime girlfriend - Divya Punetha in a private ceremony in Dehradun on June 19. Though their wedding was a private affair, it was nothing short of a fairytale. From their stunning wedding trousseau, arrangements to their dreamy pictures, everything looked lavish.
Akshay keeps surprising his fans by posting pictures and videos from the wedding. Now, a few new videos from Akshay and Divya's wedding functions are doing the rounds on social media where the couple is seen having a blast.

Akshay and Divya got married in the latter's hometown. As Akshay is part of a daily soap, he only got 7 days leave from the show. Now he has resumed shooting for the show.
In a recent interview, the actor had shared that he has not yet made any honeymoon plans, "I am not getting holidays because I am part of a daily soap. I feel you should have a break after marriage to spend time with your partner, but work is also a priority, so I will resume work within 7 days. I will have to manage everything during these 7 days. Honeymoon plans will have to wait as I don’t have leaves. I think if the situation is better next month we will go for it. We don’t want to get infected or have problems. She is a doctor and is right now posted in Uttarakhand. So I don’t want to put things at risk.", he said.
In the same interview, Akshay had revealed how he got emotional after seeing Divya in the dulhan ka joda (bridal avatar). He said, "I was almost crying. There were tears in my eyes when I saw her for the first time in the Dulhan ka Joda. It was a special moment for me. I can never forget it.".
