Balaji show has a political backdrop

As we reported earlier Balaji’s next show which is supposed to be on prime time slot on Imagine will have a political backdrop set in Kolhapur. The producers are still locking the cast. Apart from Puja Bose, another actress Nivedita has been approached to play a pivotal role. Our source from the show informs, “Puja will probably play the lead, a troupe-dancer. It so happens that one day a son of a local powerful political family meets her and falls in love with her. She too will fall in love and they would get married. However the boy’s family will come to know about their daughter- in- law’s background only after the marriage.” The title of the show Sarwagun Sampanna is with regard to the qualities she has even though she belongs to a dance troupe. Ankita Srivastava too is in the running for a role. Says Puja, “Things have yet to be finalised yet I think by next week, the picture will be clearer.” The show is supposed to go on air post IPL in end of May or June, shooting for the same will start soon once the entire cast gets finalised.
