‘The King’s Daughters’, the upcoming period drama with a unique slice of fantasy has been in the headlines, from the time we at Tellychakkar.com gave out the information of Alind Srivastava and Nissar Parvez’ Peninsula Pictures working on this concept for Star Plus.

Noted personality Shakti Anand has been roped in to play the mighty King in the series. As we know, Shakti’s acting talent has fetched him huge appreciation in his vast career. Shakti’s very recent works include Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap, Savdhaan India and Balika Vadhu.
We also hear of elegant Gracy Goswami, who essayed Anandi’s daughter in Balika Vadhu bagging a prominent role. She will play the youngest of the three daughters of the king.
We buzzed Gracy, but could not get through to her.
We could not reach out to Shakti too, for a comment.
Our efforts to reach out to Producers Alind and Nissar for a confirmation proved futile. We also dropped a text to the channel spokesperson, but did not get any revert.
The team is gearing up for a pre-Diwali pilot shoot.
