MUMBAI: Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia has been one of the most popular contestants of the recently concluded reality TV show Bigg Boss 16. She won the viewers’ hearts by her dignified composure and logical ways of dealing with people and playing the game. The Choti Sarrdaarni actress has gained a massive fan following as a result.

Nimrit who is all set to make her Hindi film debut has now shared her experience, says, “After my journey on 'Bigg Boss Season 16', I am excited to explore new avenues in my acting career, and this project presents the perfect opportunity. Working alongside such a talented team and under the guidance of a renowned director is truly a dream come true.” The untitled film is produced under the banner of Ajay Rai's production house, Jar Pictures.
Nimrit further added, “After being introduced to Ajay by my agent, he saw potential in me for the role. Following several rounds of auditions, he was convinced that I was the right fit for my big-screen debut in his film. Securing the role for my first film was a surreal experience.”
Filming of the yet-untitled thriller drama will begin the third quarter of this year.

On how she is managing her weight Nimrit has earlier said, “I used to follow a diet but ever since I have come out of the house I am not following any diet. I have a diet where I have carbs in a very controlled manner. I have a very high protein and low carb diet. I try to have my dinner early and I don’t have anything after that. I just have water before I sleep.”
