The little princess of small screen Spandan Chaturvedi mesmerized us with her brilliant performance in Colors’ social drama Udann (Guroudev Bhalla and Dhaval Gada).
We guess, it’s time to bid adieu to her on screen and welcome the matured, grown up avatar of Chakor.
Recently, we reported about Vijayendra Kumeria playing the male lead Suraj in Udann post the leap. And now we hear that young actor Vidhi Pandya of Balika Vadhu fame is all set to join the cast of Udann as Chakor.
A source shares, “Vidhi, who has been associated with shows like Tum Aise Hi Rehna and Balika Vadhu has been locked to play the lead role in Udann post the leap. The show will now focus on Chakor’s personal life and her struggle as a mature adult to bring freedom to the members of his community. Though the production was keen on roping Rachna Parulkar, the channel finalised on Vidhi.”
When we contacted Vidhi, the lady remained tight lipped and stated, “I can’t comment anything about it”.
We also dropped a message to producer, Guroudev Bhalla and to the channel’s spokesperson, but have not received any reverts till the time of filing the article.
