A caring son Vijayendra drove down to Ahmedabad to bring his parents home for Diwali

MUMBAI: Vijayendra Kumeria's Instagram posts give us a sneak peek into his life as a family man. The "Naagin: Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel" actor is not just a wonderful husband, a loving father, but also a very caring son. He has never celebrated Diwali without his parents, so even this year he made sure that they were with him for the festivities.

The "Shastri Sisters" actor's dedication is so much towards his parents that he drove down to Ahmedabad to get his parents, Pramod Kumeria and Usha Kumeria, to Mumbai. He bought a red SUV earlier this month and went to bring his parents in it.

He even clicked a pic with them from the road. His parents happily posed from the back seat, while Vijayendra was behind the wheels.

"I always celebrate Diwali with my parents. Before the pandemic hit us, my parents had gone to Ahmedabad and we avoided air travel for them due to their age. So I thought I would go by road and pick them up," the "'Udaan" actor said.

"For the past 15 years, I have been celebrating Diwali in Mumbai and it was lovely traveling by road. We didn’t stop much in between and I really enjoyed the drive in my new car," Vijayendra added.
