A page from the personal diary of Gaurav S Bajaj Hello everyone, this is Gaurav S Bajaj whom you know as Rajveer in the new show Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai, Gajab Ka Risk Hai on Life OK. Today, this brings me here to brief you something about myself. Though I hail from Indore, I pursued my education from Symbiosis, Pune. Later, I shifted to Mumbai in my dream to become an actor. Acting was my passion and that is what influenced my parents to push me into the act of performing. Well, I am more of a family person. Whatever time I get in my hand I use it to spend with my family and I sincerely love the time which I get to spend with them. It’s like I am more of a homely guy who needs his home when he gets time. I am also a very good listener. So whatever people tell me, I take it as an advice or a lesson. As a matter of fact, my ears are always open to whatever the person before me has to share. So, Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai… was a good suggestion for me and giving a try for any opportunity is my belief. I never say no unless and until I don’t try any particular deed. If you compare my character Rajveer with me, you will find some similarities among the two. Many a times, you will find a lot of similarities like our gestures and our beliefs. But, you can’t deny the fact that when you are off the costume, you get into your real self and forget the fact that you were playing a particular character some time ago. Costume plays a very important role in any aspect of an artiste. When an artiste gets into his costume, he forgets everything and just focuses on the character he is playing, but as soon as pack up is called for, the power of costume vanishes and one gets into his real self. Every actor knows the importance of switch off and switch on from one’s character and learns fully the intricacies of the same with the passage of time when they grow older in this field. It is a challenge for me to take up any kind of role that comes my way, may it be theatre or a comic role or any action show, I am on my toes and try to do full justice to any kind of challenging role. This because, I am actor by profession and not by nature. Thus, creating drama and throwing tantrums is not my style. I believe in harmony and have no ego, no attitude but respect my seniors and love my co-artistes. Now, this part is for you my dear fans. I like to thank you all for always being there and heaping praises on me for what I am doing on television. I feel blessed to contribute something in the lives of my fans and accept their blessings with open arms. Please keep on blessing. Well, I think this is enough for today. For now, I am taking your leave but will meet up soon with some more interesting stuff of mine.
