MUMBAI: Digangana Suryavanshi, who is noted for depicting the character of Veera Kaur Sampooran Singh in popular Star Plus TV series Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera, will be seen sharing screen space with Govinda and Varun Sharma.
On being asked about her life before her foray into television, she said, ‘My love for writing was since childhood, I have written a novel at the age of 16 called Nixie the Mermaid and the Power Of Love and a book of lyrics called Waves the Endless Emotion. Not only this, I have also worked on 150 songs, a few film scripts, short stories, and a lot more.’
On how she developed an interest in writing, she said, ‘I developed this writer in me when I was about five. This sounds kind of very young. Back then I use to say things and my mom use to pen them until I learned writing myself.’
About her debut in the film FryDay, Digangana said, ‘I am very excited about my debut, as two films of mine release on the same day, which makes history in the Indian film industry and this itself gives me goose bumps.’
The multitasker love music and believes that music is pure meditation.
She concludes by talking about her family: ‘I live with my Maa and Papa in Mumbai. This is the place we’ve always been, and they mean the world to me. Also, I love my Nani more than I love myself.’
