Dilip Joshi to play lead in a SAB show

The ratings results notwithstanding, SAB TV keeps churning out new comedy shows. In the coming months, SAB TV will launch a new comedy show which will have seasoned actor Dilip Joshi playing the lead. When contacted, Dilip refused to reveal much but did admit to doing a show for SAB TV. While Dilip remained tight-lipped, a reliable source informs, “It’s a comedy show which will be produced by Neela Telefilms, makers of Saarthi. The title is yet to be decided. The plot revolves around the lives of a grandfather, son and the grandson. Dilip Joshi plays the son and the lead character. Veteran writer Tarak Mehta has written the script” SAB Business Head Anooj Kapoor had this to say, “It’s premature to talk on it now but Neela Telefilms is indeed producing a show for us. There’s still time before it goes on air.” Asit Modi of Neela Telefilms remained unavailable for comment.
