Diwakar Pundir is the new man in Jia's life

Grasim Mr India 1998, Diwakar Pundir will enter the <em>Reth</em> plot from 16 May. Diwakar will play Kshom, a lawyer by profession, who will be Jia's love interest in the Zee primetime show. Kshom is this happy go lucky guy, charming, dynamic and ambitious. In pursuit of money, he wants to be successful - by hook or by crook. Though he's not a bad guy, he doesn't set a store by high ethics and he admits the fact freely as well. Kshom will play an important part in Jia's life by getting her out of several tight spots, we hear.
Grasim Mr India 1998, Diwakar Pundir will enter the Reth plot from 16 May. Diwakar will play Kshom, a lawyer by profession, who will be Jia's love interest in the Zee primetime show. Diwakar was previously been seen on Sony's Crime Patrol when it launched last year, but was eventually replaced by Shakti Anand. The former model was also seen in the Om Puri starrer King of Bollywood in 2004. Not many may know it, but Diwakar is a commercial pilot license holder as also second runner-up at the Mr. Intercontinental contest held in Germany in 1998. Diwakar has modeled in various ad films for known brands including Denim Talc, Tata Safari, McDowell Whisky, Pepsi, Lifebuoy. His recent ads include Prudential ICICI, Listerine Mouthwash, Henko Washing Powder and Hero Chocolates. Diwakar has also featured in popular music videos including Sonu Nigam’s Ab Mujhe Raat Din’ and Asha Bhonsle’s Do Lawjon Ki Hai. Diwakar will make his film debut in yet-to-be-released feature film for Mahesh Manjeraker titled Pyar Kiya Nahi Jaata and It Rained That Night. Will Diwakar last in Reth? Wait and watch.
