Don’t want to run in a rat race: Ye Hai Mohabbatein actress Arshima Thapar

 Arshima Thapar

MUMBAI: Seen in shows like Bade Ache Lagte Hai, Ye Hai Mohabbatein, Bhaage Re Mann (Netflix), and in a recent episode of Zee TV’s Fear Files, Arshima Thapar is exploring many avenues in the creative space apart from acting.

Wondering the reason behind her not being seen on television lately, we quizzed her, to which she responded, ‘I had shot for a pilot of a show and was hoping for things to materialize, but unfortunately they did not. So a lot of my time was consumed over there. I want to do good roles that don’t just look overtly glamorous or are furniture but are adding some value to the story. I don’t want to run in a rat race.’

‘I am auditioning for quite a few web series too, as the digital medium has quite a lot of scope when it comes to experimenting with creativity. Apart from my acting, I have written a short film, which I plan to direct too. I am looking at pitching it soon.’

Good luck, Arshima!
