Mumbai: Breaking through the clutter of existing dance shows on Indian television, Dance Deewane’s inimitable format offers 3 generations of India a common platform to showcase their passion/deewangi for dance.
One such case in point that proves age is no bar when it comes to dance is Dancing Uncle, Sanjeev Srivastav. His performance on 'Aap Ke Aa Jane Se' went viral and garnered millions of views. Sanjeev had claimed that his dream is to share the stage with his idol, Govinda. COLORS has now made this dream come true by inviting India’s superstar of dance – Govinda and Sanjeev in an upcoming episode of the show.
“I am a huge fan of Govinda and it has been my dream to be able to dance with Govindaji on the same stage. Since I have shown my passion for dance in the video, Dance Deewane has been a blessing to make this dream of mine come true on such a large scale. I’m very excited and thankful to COLORS for being supportive of me,” says dancing uncle, Sanjeev.
Judged by Madhuri Dixit, Shashank Khaitan and Tushar Kalia – Dance Deewane witnesses particpiation across 3 age groups, that is children, youth and adults. All the contestants will be competing in their own categories and the three finalists, one from each category, will compete for the title of being India’s ultimate Dance Deewana.
