Barun Sobti to play Mr. Bajaj?
Ekta Kapoor has quite literally taken over the internet lately. Earlier last month, she announced that the remake of her decade-old iconic show Kasautii Zindagii Kay will be remade with a fresh cast and new faces will take over the iconic characters. There are rumours doing the rounds that Barun Sobti will be portraying the character of Mr. Bajaj in the new show and not Anurag Basu. However, no official confirmation has been received yet.

Gaurav S Bajaj ends up punching Nitin Goswami in the face
Gaurav S Bajaj will be returning to TV after two years. However, his return was marred with an unfortunate incident on the sets. While he was shooting for a promo, he accidently ended up punching his lead co-star Nitin Goswami too hard in the face that the latter ended up with a broken nose. Nitin has confirmed the news. He had been to the doctor and it will take time to heal.
Ekta Kapoor just confirmed Shaheer Sheikh's next project?
A lot of buzz is doing the rounds around the adaptation of Mughal-e-Azam on Colors and Shaheer Sheikh being part of the show. There are reports that Sheikh has been roped in to play Salim in the show. However, neither Shaheer nor producer Anirudh Pathak has confirmed the former's inclusion in the project. But a third party has indeed revealed that Shaheer is the next Salim on television. Amidst the buzz, Ekta Kappor has commented on his picture which only adds to the fact that he is playing Salim in his television comeback.

Samiksha Jaiswal denies dating rumours
Dating rumours are a part and parcel of an actor’s life, and the recent one to get effected by this is actress Samiksha Jaiswal, who essays the role of Mahek in Zindagi Ek Mahek. There were rumors doing the rounds that the actress is dating a photographer named Ayush and her fans are unhappy to know this as they feel she can get someone better. But Samiksha denied the rumours and said that she is single and there is no photographer in her life. Samiksha’s personal life had been a subject of debate before as well. Anuja Joshi to play the protagonist in Applause Entertainment’s Marry Me, Stranger; Mrinal Dutt roped in
Author Novoneel Chakraborty’s ‘The Stranger Trilogy’ will be made into a web-series for the digital platform by Applause Entertainment. The series, which will appear as three seasons, will be helmed by Goldie Behl. Newcomer Anuja Joshi, who resides in USA, will be playing the protagonist in the series. Joining her in yet another formidable role will be Mrinal Dutt of TV series Private Investigator fame. Mrinal is also presently part of Viu India’s upcoming thriller, 13 Mussoorie. Anuja will play the central role of Rivanah who will be hounded by her pursuer while Mrinal will play her love interest.
Karan Ashar roped in for Abhinav Anand-starrer Happii-Fi’s short film
Happii-Fi, the YouTube comedy channel owned by Adhikaris, will soon come up with a short film titled Half Shave. We already know that TVF fame actor and director Abhinav Anand is playing the main lead in the short. Karan, who played the role of Dastoor in Zoom Originals’ The Reunion and will be seen in Hotstar’s bilingual series, White Matter, will have a key role in the upcoming project. As per a source, “Karan will play the role of the male lead’s friend. His character will have a strong belief in the power of saint men (babas).”
Shamita Shetty bidding farewell to Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 for health issues?
The shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 has started last week in Argentina and this year the tasks that have been planned are very tough. Owing to the circumstances, it seems Shamita Shetty has fallen sick and is not been able to shoot. The team has begun the shoot last Wednesday and Shamita refused to perform due to bad health. A decision is yet to be made whether or not she will come back to the show.
