MUMBAI: Alpana Buch is presently seen in Star Plus' popular drama series Anupamaa.
The actress is portraying the role of Leela Shah in the show and the viewers have simply loved her for her amazing performance.
Alpana's character Leela has changed a lot with time and as the story has progressed.
While she never fails to behave like a typical mother-in-law, she is full of emotions and always tries to keep family together.
In the current track of the show, a tragedy strikes the Shah house as Samar will lose his life in the wake of saving Anuj.
The show will soon witness a high voltage drama and a lot of emotional scenes are all set to be seen.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Alpana who spoke about Sagar Parekh's exit, performing heavy duty emotional scenes and much more.

Talking about her first reaction to this tragic track, Alpana said, ''Anyone will not like it when a character and an actor exits from the show. There is a bond which is created as we work together almost everyday for months and years. This sequence was required to move the story forward. But we are definitely not happy that Samar is dying.''
Revealing how has been the atmosphere on the set as the cast is shooting for Samar's death sequence to which Alpana said, ''Yes, the atmosphere here is not that great. I was not feeling good. My blood pressure had shot up and I was throwing up. My condition was not good. It was not just me but everyone was quite low.''
Talking about shooting the heartbreaking sequence where Samar's dead body is brought home and how they are prepared for such scenes, Alpana said, ''We have already started shooting for it. We are constantly convincing our mind that it is just a show and not reality. We are actors and we should not take it personally.''
Lastly, revealing her experience working with Sagar in the past one year, Alpana said, ''My journey with Sagar has been extremely wonderful. This one year passed within a blink of an eye. He is a very nice, well-behaved and a cultured boy.''
