How do you prepare for a role like yours? What goes in your mind before you do a scene?
While doing the scenes, I don’t prepare myself for that too much, but when I read the scenes, I think about the scenes and kind of absorb that into my head. I try to relate myself with the scene before I do the scene. That’s how I usually prepare myself.
With the world of OTT expanding, there is no limit to the kind of content that one can create or watch. Would you like to explore the medium of OTT?
OTT is definitely a big platform and a big opportunity right now. I did get offers, but the scenes were very bold; the content was very bold. So I pulled myself back a little. I am a little reserved about my roles, so I am hoping that something better will come my way. I will do the project keeping in mind my image and what suits that, but I surely want to explore OTT as well.
You also became a part of the show ‘Sindoor Ki Keemat’. How did you balance the two roles?
When I got that show, I had hairline fractures, so I couldn’t continue that role. I took a break from that show, and that break became so long that it became a full stop. But whatever I did and for whatever duration of 10-15 days, I can call it a cameo. I had a great time doing that as well, so it was fun doing that show also.
What do you want to say to the fans?
I just want to ask the fans to keep loving me and to continue showing me the love that they have been for so long. The way that they love my characters; lots of love to them. I am really grateful.
