MUMBAI: Star Plus' popular show Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey is winning the hearts of the masses. The show is being spoken about a lot. The pairing of Yesha Rughani and Manan Joshi is quite fresh, and the storyline brings back memories of the '90s. The two play the roles of lead characters Gungun and Abhinav respectively. The family looks fun-loving with characters who love music and cricket. The show is a remake of Star Jalsha's Bengali language show Khorkuto.
We see you share a great bond with Yesha tell us something about it?
Yesha is a sweetheart. She is a dedicated and diligent actor. We are supposed to hate each other and we laugh about it a lot off-screen. She is bubbly and vivacious in real life... We try to make reels for social media but have no time. So that's sad.
The team of KKIS is indeed mischievous, do you prank them too?
I wish I could. I get no time between shoots. Makeup. Script reading. Shoot. Repeat. Sometimes we are shooting on different sets... The only one I can prank is the indie doggie that comes into my room to sleep in the AC.
What would that one advice Riya would love to give Akriti?
"RELAX GIRL! It's just a man!" I take life very easy. Carpe Diem. I live in the moment. There's no point in chasing something or somebody so much that you stop living your life. But that's me. Akriti just refuses to listen to me.
