MUMBAI: Sachin Tyagi has been a part of the industry for a long time and is currently playing Manish Goenka in Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. He has been a part of shows Ramayan- Sabke Jeevan Ka Aadhar and Tere Sheher Mein.

TellyChakkar recently got in touch with Sachin Tyagi and got to know some very interesting details about her.

Now that Akshara and Abhimanyu have reunited, what other twists can the audience expect from the upcoming track?

“I feel that people feel some sort of restlessness until two people unite. They kept wishing for Abhimanyu and Akshara to unite again, but now that they have united again, there is nothing much to do. I feel it is a bit of an anti-climax. I don’t know what other twists will come up. It might happen that Aarohi might again create problems and they will start fighting again. Basically, villains are the heroes who keep the excitement alive.”

You have been a part of the show before the leap that took place last year. What do you miss from before?

“I miss Mohsin Khan a lot. He had a very weird and different sense of humor. When we used to have a break or when someone else’s scene was going on, he used to come to my room and we would just go for a walk. We used to pull everyone’s legs and have a lot of fun together.”

What changes or similarities do you see post the leap as compared to what the track was like before?

“The only thing that has changed is the people. Nothing else changes in our show. The faces change but the stories remain the same. We keep recycling the same stories, the same romance, fights, and parents coming in between. For example, Anisha’s death track where Kairav and I had to go to jail, that had happened in the track before the leap when Akshara had died and Kartik had to go to jail. So this is how a female passes away in the plot and some male character goes to jail for it. The same story repeats, parents being against the couple’s marriage, when the couple gets together they get a divorce later, either they don’t get a divorce and everything gets sorted out or even if they get divorced, they keep living together under the same roof. The show will keep on going and it will complete 14 years in January. I feel Rajan ji will take it to 15 years at least.”
