EXCLUSIVE! Satyapal Landge reveals an interesting story behind Badnaam and Karishma Singh's signature SLAP SCENE in Maddam Sir

MUMBAI: SAB TV's show Maddam Sir has been entertaining the viewers for a very long time. 

The light-hearted cop-drama has managed to create a special place in everyone's heart and the viewers are in love with the beautiful storyline and the positive message given by the show.

Maddam Sir has some of the finest actors who are making sure not just to impress us with their excellent performance but also entertain us with their rib-tickling comedy.

The show has many amazing actors like Gulki Joshi, Yukti Kapoor, Sonali Naik, Bhavika Sharma, Priyanshu Singh among others. 

The characters who have added more fun and entertainment to the show are Ashwani Rathore, Salman Shaikh, Nimesh Soni and Satyapal Landge among others.

Well, TellyChakkar got in touch with Satyapal who plays the role of Badnaam in the show. 

Badnaam is seen as the tea seller of the locality where Mahila police station is located. He often gets slapped by Karishma Singh for making bad tea.

Not just this he often does mimicry of Bollywood superstars.

Well, Badnaam and Karishma's slap scene has become one hit among the viewers.

On being asked Satyapal about the scene and how it turned out to be a huge hit, he shared an interesting story behind it. 

"People really liked when Karishma slapped Badnaam in the show for one of the scenes. The scene was quite impactful and people started tagging us on social media for this scene. All this become quite hit. That's how the makers decided to implement this scene frequently in the show and it became a signature scene of Maddam Sir. The show, as well as the characters, are getting good response with such scenes."

He also revealed about his bonding with Yukti and said, "She is a very good actress and I share a great bond with her. She is an extremely nice person. I have always got support from her."

Satyapal who hails from Nagpur came to Mumbai more than a decade ago to set his foot in the showbiz world. 

His forte is comedy and has done several comedy shows in his long career span. He has also collaborated with some well-known comic artists in the industry.
