MUMBAI: Actor Prateik Chaudhary will soon be seen in Dangal TV’s upcoming show Sindoor Ki Keemat and in an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com, he opened up about his career choice and what he likes most about his role and the show.

Tell us a bit about the premise of the show:

Sindoor Ki Keemat is the name of the show and it is the adaptation of the show from the south named Roza, and the show is produced by Gul Khan, and the character I am playing is named Ashwin Avasthi. Don’t you think playing positive roles is getting cliché?

I have played grey shade and some comedy characters in web shows and I will have fun playing this character and obviously as an actor I will have fun playing all types of character and I think Indian audience will connect to it because he is very charming and makes everyone laugh .

As Dangal is a new channel so how do you think the response will be?

Dangal is not new now because big production have come , even Balaji , almost all production have come in Dangal and touchwood I think this show will work because it is of Gul Khan and within 10 days I’ve come to know and the story and content is very interesting and the Roza is still on air it has completed 900 episodes and I won’t compare to it but we will give our best and I think audience will like it and it will also come on prime time.

There are duplications of many show so what do you have to say about that?

At the end if the audience is liking it and if you are justifying the show then it will not hurt the original makers and the audience and this is the duplicate of the south show as many people can’t understand that so we are providing it in Hindi.

Have you taken inspiration from the character from Roza?

To be honest I haven’t seen the show and I want to watch the show as an audience and not as an actor because then it will fit in mind and they have briefed me about the character and I will give my best and I don’t want to copy exactly same as the character in Roza because I want to show my skills and graph.
