The character of Vikrant is extremely challenging as he plays a romantic hero tangled with a multi-layered personality including that of a serial killer. In a candid conversation with TellyChakkar, Mudit opened up on his interest in acting.

Mudit shared, “Well, I think my interest in acting comes because of my father. He was the one to actually give me a push into career path. I was studying my masters and helping my father in his business when he told me to try acting as a profession. I think somewhere down the line he might have wanted to try acting in his younger days.

If not an actor I think I would have pursued cricket. When I was a teenager we had only National and the Ranji tournaments unlike today, where there are more opportunities. However, if that too would not be possible then I would be a businessman like my father.”

When asked about an actor who he looks upto, Mudit shared, “I really liked Late actor Irrfan Khan. I really wished I could work with him someday. I also like what Jaideep Ahlawat brings on the screen. He has done a great job with ‘Jaane Jaan’ and is a phenomenal actor. He is brilliant with his craft. He is also a good friend of mine and I wish to share screen space with him someday.”

Adding further, Mudit elaborated, “Vikrant is the best character I have played so far in my career. In my last show ‘Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein’ I played a deaf and mute character and I have always portrayed off-beat roles. Vikrant is a multi-layered personality and I love the challenge to enact him. I am blessed to have been offered such characters.”
