MUMBAI: Yashu Dhiman is known for Chann: Harjit Harman (2013) and Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga (2018).
She is currently a part of Dangal TV’s mythological show Jai Hanumaan - Sankat Mochan Naam Tiharo playing the role of Sughreek’s wife.
Tellychakkar recently got in touch with the actor and got to know interesting insights.
How are you liking the show?
”I love the track a lot. I am so glad I am a part of this show. What happened was that before the lockdown I was doing a similar show for &TV and it went off-air during the lockdown. I played the character of Roma in the show. I was going to return to the show but then my family was really worried because of the rise in covid during that time. But whatever happens, happens for a reason. The show went off-air later. I got the opportunity to do something like that again recently. I am glad that what I couldn’t do then I am getting to do now.”

Would you ever be interested in exploring reality TV?
“Yes, I would love to but not Bigg Boss though. I used to like it a few years back but not anymore. I find it extremely fake these days and nothing real goes on. But I would love to do a dance related reality show. I like to dance and I think I would really enjoy it.”
Who do you gel up with the most?
“The one who plays Hanuman is a good friend of mine. We connect a lot as we both are from Punjab. The show’s creatives are also from Punjab so we connect a lot. I share a room with Tara who plays Bali’s wife, so we have a really good bond.”
If not acting, what would you have liked to do?
“As of now, my mind only has acting in it. I also like makeup though. I have a friend who did a course in makeup from London and these days people are getting into it a lot. So I feel that can be something for me. I would like to learn and explore it.”
