MUMBAI: Rakhi Sawant is an Indian dancer, model, actress and television talk show host, who has appeared in many Hindi and a few Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Telugu and Tamil films and was a contestant on the first season of the controversial Indian reality television series Bigg Boss 1 (2006) and as a challenger and finalist in Bigg Boss 14. Sawant launched her own political party, headed by Jai Shah, called the Rashtriya Aam Party, to contest the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections. However, after the election, she joined the Republican Party of India.

She was recently spotted on Indian Idol season 12. She left everyone feels amazed with her dance performance. She performs lavani. She received many praisings for the same. The talented Rakhi - Bigg Boss 14 participant is an amazing dance. She was seen on the singing sets of Indian Idol 12 four days ago. She entertained the audience gracefully by showcasing her traditional Maharashtrian dance and similar outfit. She left all the fan following stunned with a DHAMAKEDAR performance. She got loud applause and appreciations.

In an Interview with ETimes he shares that he was told to praise the participants, no matter how they sing. He did not like the gestures.
