MUMBAI: Popular TV actress Dipika Kakar rose to fame from her show Sasural Simar Ka where she played the titular role of Simar in the show. The actress was paired opposite Shoaib Ibrahim and the duo's jodi became an instant hit among the viewers.
Dipika and Shoaib fell in love with each other while they were shooting for the show. The couple dated for a few years and got married in a lavish ceremony in the year 2018 followed by a star-studded reception in Mumbai.
The duo has given major couple goals ever since they have been married. Shoaib and Dipika's social media PDA is proof that they are madly in love and are made for each other.

We all know Dipika and Shoaib got married as per Muslim custom and traditions in the actor's hometown.
Ever since then, there were several reports about Dipika changing her religion after marriage and also her name. The actress has changed her name from Dipika to Faiza Ibrahim after her marriage.
During their wedding reception when Dipika was asked about this, Dipika had the most amazing response.
The actress seemed extremely happy and said that she will always remain Dipika for everyone, especially her fans. Talking further about her decision of changing the name, the actress said that everyone in her family is aware and it is extremely personal. She doesn't want to involve anyone in this.
