MUMBAI: Gudiya Rani, a new drama series on Dangal TV, is about to premiere for fans. It promises to be an engrossing blend of strong drama, family dynamics, and emotions.
Produced by Bodhi Tree Multimedia, the moving show Gudiya Rani delves deeply into themes of sacrifice, identity, and the pursuit of freedom.
The series, which is developed by Bhavna Vyas and directed by Suraj Rao, tells the heartwarming tale of 6-year-old Rani (Mahi Bhadra), who lives in the isolated interiors of Madhya Pradesh with her suffering family. Rich kid Pari (Puvika Gupta) is charmed by Rani's eccentric ways the moment she meets her and wants to play with her. Rani consents to turn into Pari's living doll.
Rani's family receives all they could possibly want in return from Pari's father, Mahendra (Krip Suri), including enough food, an education for Rani and her siblings, and stable finances. The show's outstanding cast also includes Ashlesha, Hrudvi Nanda, and Chirag.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Krip to know his experience shooting for the show.
In an exclusive conversation, Krip revealed, “My character, Mahendra, is not a villain. He loves his daughter so much that he can do anything for her smile and he cannot see the difference between right and wrong because of his blinded love. I would say that his ways are wrong. He is a rich man but his intentions are not. This is a very different character from what I have played on television.”
