Gunaah child actress Jia Narigara REVEALS about her bond with Surbhi Jyoti - Exclusive

MUMBAI: The world of OTT has opened our eyes to a wide variety of unique content. With a lot of new series making their space in our watchlist, there's another addition - Gunaah.

Disney+ Hotstar is back with a gripping drama series, Gunaah, centred around a hero that turns into an anti-hero.

Fueled by his desire for vengeance, Abhimanyu played by Gashmeer Mahajani, is a seasoned gambler. He is out there to blur the lines between right and wrong, friends and enemies, mercy and retribution.

The series also stars Surbhi Jyoti in a pivotal role and is all set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on June 3, 2024.

Directed by Anil Senior and Anirudh Pathak being the showrunner, the series is set in a world where betrayal and mystery collide. Gunaah will take the viewers on a journey of a man whose existence is shrouded in secrecy.

Earlier today we reported that Jia Narigara has been roped in for the show. When we got in touch with the actress regarding her role, there were pretty interesting insights revealed.

Jia said, "In this series Gunaah I am playing surbhi jyoti’s sister’s role. So surbhi ma'am is so sweet that she always takes care of me. Surbhi ma'am is an awesome actor. I learnt so much from her. She helped me so much on set. She treated me like her real sister only. Their bond is so nice onscreen and offscreen both. I am playing a  good role in her next movie BE HAPPY with Abhishek Bachchan and Nora Fatehi which is directed by l Remo D'souza sir. The shooting completed last year and the movie will release on Amazon Prime. My experience was also very nice during Gunaah. director sir is very very good and very kind, helping and jolly nature. Maine masti karte karte shoot kiya as director sir is also so fun loving. It was fun shooting Gunaah. Production people are also very nice and supportive."

Jia has previously appeared in TV serials like Kumkum Bhagya and Kasautii Zindagi Key 2. She has also appeared in a movie named Ishq-e-Naadan.
